So what are you guys all about, anyway?

Our mission is to provide crafts to you, customized exactly the way you want them. In this day and age, it seems silly that you would have to look through a paltry list and settle for second-best when it comes to hand-made crafts.

That's why each and every one of our items have a 'Customize' button, so you can tell us exactly how you want it! Our gallery, unlike most stores, isn't a record of what we have on hand, but more of a starting guide, a springboard to start you off towards your own unique designs--all you have to do is tell us and we'll make it for you!

Why do some items only say 'Available for Order' for their price?

Some items, like bracelets and necklaces, are relatively uniform in the price it takes to produce them. As a result, we can offer customizations and know exactly what each customization will cost, if any. Other items, such as bow holders and custom outfits, can vary greatly in price depending on the type of material you wish to use, the availability of the material, the size of item you are wanting, etc. As a result, there's just no realistic way of listing a price on the website.

If you are interested in one of these custom-order items and you want to know the approximate cost beforehand, feel free to contact us and ask for an estimate.

What about X/Y/Z? I don't see it listed on your site, but do you provide them?

We endeavor to supply at least examples of all the types of items we offer on our store, but we're always expanding! If you don't see what you are looking for, don't hesitate to contact us and ask! After all, that's what we're here for!

I saw a wonderful child bracelet that I would love to have a matching bracelet for myself as well...

If you see something on our catalog that you would like slightly different, or larger, or a matching piece, no worries! Each item has a 'Customize' button specifically for just such a time! Just click it and tell us your desires. When you submit your order, we will get back to you ASAP with details about your custom items, including price and estimated time to ship!

I noticed that some jewelry pieces have centerpieces and some don't, and the prices vary. What gives?

We endeavor to offer variations for each of our jewelry pieces to give you a wide range of ideas to choose from that can best match your desires--and your budget! You can see a detailed breakdown of each option we offer by going to our Jewelry Options page!

What's the difference between all of these types of beads?

Each bead type has its own balance between beauty, style and economy. You can see a detailed list of each type of bead we offer and their differences by going to our Jewelry Options page!

Do I need to create an account to shop your site?

Not at all! You can browse the galleries and add items to your cart all you want without ever creating an account, and the items will stay in your cart as long as your browser window stays open. However, once you wish to check out, you do need to create an account so we can have a record of your order and so you can have access to check the status of your order. When you create an account, we will transfer your current cart to your account, so you don't need to re-add all of your items again!

Where do you get your polymer clay beads?

All of our amazing polymer beads are supplied by Roz Petalz Studio (www.rozpetalzstudio.com). If you see a bead there that we don't yet have a piece for, feel free to ask us to make one!

How do your nursing bracelets work?

What is included with your jewelry?

All of our jewelry items ship with a small jewelry pouch to keep your item in. These pouches make it easier to store your items, help protect them from breakage and help shield them from dust! (You can see the included pouches on some of the items in our catalog, but rest assured they come with every one!)

What quality of materials do you use with your jewelry?

I make all of my jewelry to be as safe for babies as possible. I use only either non-reactive hemp or jewelry wire, both of which can withstand up to 20 pounds of force to make sure that a child can't break the piece by pulling on it! For nursing jewelry, I always use safe acrylic beads, not glass or any other material that could splinter and cut a baby's mouth if they were to chew on it.

Still, nothing in this world is indestructible, so exercise caution when using the jewelry with your child or especially near a baby, as with anything else--make sure the baby is never left unattended with the jewelry and watch for signs of cracking or breackage, especially on pieces that the baby chews on. Resin and ceramic centers are also fragile, so if you are worried about your older child chewing or breaking it, please be sure to order pieces without them or specially request your jewelry without them. I am not responsible for any injuries that may result, so please be careful!

What happend to the cakes??

Don't worry, we still do cakes. They're so different than the rest of our business, though, that we decided to separate them out. Custom Cake Creations is now a 'division' of Custom Craft Creations, with its own website that you can visit here.

How long does it take to get my order ready?

Time varies from item to item; some items, like bracelets, can take just a few days, while custom outfits can take several weeks, and it all can change depending on the availability of the particular colors/patterns/designs you are wanting. We try to keep the site updated with an estimate of how long each item will take, but rest assured we will always endeavor to finish your order as soon as possible!

How much will I have to pay for my custom items?

For items that we can't give a price for beforehand, we will review your order and then send you a notice with an estimated total, as well as a deposit to pay. The deposit is necessary to buy the materials for your order, but we will not charge you the remaining balance until your order is complete and ready to ship. Once it is, we will send you another notice with the balance remaining to pay so we can ship your order out to you!

I received notice that my order was ready, but how do I pay?

You can go to your account page to see all of your orders, including ones that are waiting for payment and ones that have been shipped out!

The shipping you list seems high. Why do you charge so much?

We actually have the system hooked up directly to the United States Postal Service to calculate the exact shipping cost for every order. If the prices seem high, it's probably because shipping via USPS to your location is really that expensive (all shipments are coming from Brighton, CO). Also note that USPS is unfortunately raising rates all the time.

What web browser do you recommend when viewing your site?

Although we strive to make our site work with every popular browser, not all browsers are created equal. To provide the best and most uniform experience across all computers, we strive to comply with all the latest web standards, and so browsers that support the latest standards will work the best. The best ones, in our experience, are Safari and Firefox, both of which are available for Macintosh and Windows. You may use IE as well, but please note that IE has a history of lagging behind other browsers when it comes to handling web standards properly.
